O’Hara masterfully captures the details of the house through his use of the fine lines and smooth tonal transitions, as the grass and sunflowers in the foreground are amazingly captured with O’Hara’s pinpoint brushmarks and attention to detail. The mastery of detail throughout this beautiful, panoramic view can be seen by the motion of the grass and sunflowers to the awe striking technicality in the small figurative work of the cowboy. This remarkable quality giclee print is embellished by an ornate wooden frame of high caliber, valuing at least $300. The outline of the frame has a golden carved design that enhances warm hues of the watercolor. O’Hara is a well known Kansas City artist and a nationally known artist who was good friends with Tom Watson, known for his oil and watercolor representational landscape paintings of Cape Cod. O’Hara currently resides in Shawnee Mission, Kansas.
