Description: This is a decorative ceramic teapot shaped like an English thatched cottage made by Price Brothers, later to be Price Kensington, England in the 1930-1940s. The design is called Cottage Ware or Cottageware and is very collectible. The teapot is hand painted and measures 9 inches long by 6 inches high. The mark is impressed under glaze Ye Olde Cottage and there is an ink stamp as well. The teapot is in very good +++ condition with no chips or cracks but there is crazing a discoloration from use which is quite normal for these ceramic teapots. A very fun and collectible piece. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured.
