Description: This is a commemorative plate made for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II of England in 1953 by Collingswood, Canada in the Georgian line for the Canadian market. The porcelain souvenir plate measures 9.65 inches in diameter, features mulberry transfer graphics and portraits of Elizabeth and Philip and a heavy gold band overlay border featuring the shields of all the Canadian provinces. The plate is in very good +++ condition with no chips or cracks but does have some gold wear. A neat item of Canadian Royal memorabilia.
