Description: This is a hardcover cookbook entitled " The Cutco Cookbook" It was edited in 1961 by Margaret Mitchell, the director of Home Economics, for the Cutco division of Wearever Aluminum. It has 128 pages including the index. It provides instructions for methods of cooking like braising, what knives to use for what skill, a buying guide for meat and poultry plus suggestions for meat and poultry recipes. The condition is very good with few marks. It has a name and address written on a blank page. The binding is tight. I've thumbed through it and don't see any torn pages, serious stains or scribbles. You might find a spot or two or a note in the margin. Some sample recipes are Sausage Loaves, Maggie's Lamb Chops, Tripe, Creole Chicken, Chicken Paprika, and Braised Beef Heart. Whether you are a gourmet or a beginner, this Cutco cookbook is a classic and will provide great meals for years to come.
