Description: Excellent glass Biscuit Jar by Consolidated Glass. ca. 1950

It features a pattern of diamond shaped tufts or pillows in its body. This is sometimes referred to as "Puffy Glass" or Quilted.

There are hand-painted coral red roses and blue flowers with yellow centers on the diamond shaped panels.

Further accenting the decoration are gold dots on the points of the diamonds.

Both pieces are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. The gold dots have worn off in several spots, otherwise no flaws to report.

The inside is clean and unstained as is the outside. Pristine white glass and none of the hand painted flowers have missing paint.

The Biscuit Jar measures 6 1/2" high by 6".
