Description: Colt SA .44-40 Cal. Revolver ,7 1/2" barrel, with acid etched "Colt Frontier Six Shooter" panel. Revolver shows a pleasing gray brown patina with light scattered pin prick pitting and erosion. Crisp markings including single line block barrel address, 3 line patent address to frame, 44 cf on left front trigger guard and acid etched barrel panel. Firm action with lightly rusted bore that should clean at least to fair if not good. Incorrect hard rubber gips, all matching visible serial numbers (95395) including barrel.
