Description: Colt SA black powder frame .45 Cal. revolver with 4 3/4" barrel and hard rubber grips. Two line block address to barrel, two line patent on left side frame. All visible serial numbers have been filed off during the period. Originally from a family whose grandfather was an early prosecutor indicating that it was likely a crime gun. Revolver shows a dark brown patina overall scattered pin prick pitting with traces of blue showing through. Original grips are good to very good, bore shows light scattered erosion with strong rifling and smooth action. An interesting all original Colt Single Action.
