Description: Collector's Chrome Plated Electric Toaster/Grill w/Bakelite Trim This chrome plated toaster/grill is made of stainless steel. The handles are black bakelite. The black bakelite is also designed into the top of the toaster. This appliance is 4 3/4" high and the base is 13 1/2" X 9" in diameter. It was made by Sampson United Corp., Rochester, N. Y during the 1950s. Markings: Sampson No:234 "Sampson United Corp., Rochester, NY, Made in USA"; Condition: Working condition (The stainless steel cooking serface has some heat stains (see photograph). The krome and bakelite are in perfect condition.
