Set of 4 Cobalt Blue & White Slag Frog Covered Dishes. These are really unique Covered Dishes which will only be sold as a set so be sure to check out all the pictures. I could not put in a separate picture of the double, but it is shown in the picture with all four. These were designed by the renowned Frog collector David Schepps. There were only 125 sets of these 5 1/2" Covered Dishes produced in Blue & White Slag and only 95 ever offered for sale. They will NEVER be made again so the only colors for the 4 piece set are this Cobalt Blue Slag and a White Milk Glass set. They are marked Schepps 1, Schepps 2, Schepps 3, Schepps 4 to show the order the molds were made. The pattern themes are 1)Single Frog, 2)Leap Frog, 3)Three Friends, 4)Mama & Three Babies. The detail on these covered dishes is fabulous. There are Frogs all around the bases and flowers on the base and lid. You are sure to love them. I have the exclusive contract for the sale of these sets so don't miss out on these beautiful Blue Slag Covered Dishes. Because of their scarcity they will become rare very quickly.
