Description:
Blue & White transferware. An exceptionally nice cobalt blue and white souvenir mug from Texas, in heavy porcelain with a generous handle. Mug measures 3.5 inches high X 3 inches in diameter, excluding handle. Features a rendition of the Alamo on the front, sweeping into a picture of the San Jacinto Monument, the Astrodome, and big Bend National Park to completely circle the cup. A modern transferware, and very well done, especially for a souvenir. Mfg unknown, but Staffordshire has made many of the Alamo’s Gift Shop souvenirs. Mfg unknown, but whoever made it…it is very good, not your typical cheapy souvenir. Excellent to mint condition.
