Description: Cloisonne/Brass. A beautiful background of cobalt blue cloisonné sets off the greenish turquoise peonies and beige leaves on this lovely candlestick. Blue birds frolic on the backside. Finer details on older pieces of cloisonné not found on later pieces. Base and candle holder cup are brass that has a lovely patina, but polishes up beautifully. To keep the patina of the brass, clean with a very, very fine steel wool. Candlestick measures 8 inches tall X 3.3125 inches diameter (base). Cloisonne stem is just shy of 1 inch diameter. Mint condition.
