Description: Antique Chinese cloisonne charger, circa 1890's, measuring 12" in diameter, the central medallion features a pink peony & other flowers on bright turquoise blue ground with a fishscale design, surrounded by a border of repeating Chinese motifs, scalloped edge, with some coppery mica dust in the dark green areas, the back is enameled in a bright turquoise blue, condition is basically very good overall, but please note that there are 3 small areas on the back where the charger was dinged & the enamel is missing; on the front, there is a tiny area where a piece of enamel is missing. Please make note that the overall photo of the front of this charger has a bright spot on one of the lower left scalloped edges that makes it look like enamel is totally missing, which is not the case.
