Description: An excellent quality mid-19th century mahogany WALL CLOCK, of quite small size, by the famous clockmaker DENT*. The chain fusee movement is of 8-day duration and retains its original painted 10ins diameter dial signed by Dent, Royal Exchange, LONDON and numbered 54885. Perfect working order and guaranteed at least two years. c1850 *Note: Dent was a famous clockmaker who amongst other notable achievements, was responsible for starting work on the Big Ben project in Parliament Square, LONDON.
