Description: Wonderful pair of early 19th century classical primitive andirons all in cast iron and wonderfully casted I might ad. The design is free and flowing in the classical lyre taste. They have an unusual long fire dog. They are in a nice state of preservation – of course they have a little bit of wear to the firedog but that is to be expected. These have many more years of use left in them. They measure 14 1/8”h x 7 3/8”w x 22 3/8” at deepest.
