Description: I believe these Pipes date to the 1940's as one has a Sterling Silver Band with Hallmarks for the year 1940. FOUR of the Pipes are Meerschaum, one is a Ropp Made in France, the Pipe with Sterling Silver has the letters MP in a triangle on the band but this is probably the Silversmith's mark. The other two Briar Pipes have no markings that I can distinguish. One of the Meereschaums has been cracked and repaired on the stem but all the other Pipes appear in good condition for their age bar nicotine & smoke staining of course. The Pipe Rack looks like it may be Mahogany and is in very good condition.BARGAIN TIME HERE for some lucky Collector!
