Description: Marvelous Chinese rosewood two-tiered center table inlaid in ivory with incredible scenes of the Imperial Court and everyday Chinese life including fishing and kite flying. Also inlaid with motifs including flowers, birds and scholarly devices. The table is decorated with spandrels, panels and aprons carved with floral and architectural motifs intertwined with dragons. Some inconspicuous bits of carving missing.
