Circa 1920 Two Chinese Wicker Suitcases. Several years ago we purchased hundreds of leather and wicker suitcases from a chain of ladies clothing stores that they used as decoration in all of their stores. These are the last two chinese suitcases. The smaller of the two measures 26" X 14" X 9" Iin height. This one also has a missing screw in the handle. The other suitcase is 30" X 16 1/2" and is also 9" in height. These suitcases are very decoarativ tp put on top of a chest or a credenza. Another way to use them is to have a custom made stand and have the suitcase inserted into the stand thusly making a nice end or coffee table next to either a chair or sofa.
