Chinese Tang Dynasty Paint Pottery Horse Lady 800 AD (DA020)

A very rare terra cotta model of a horse and rider lady dating to the Tang Dynasty circa 1,100+ years ago. Standing four square on a rectangular plinth, the horse has his head slightly turned raised . Traces of original white, red, black pigments remain.
