Description: Large and rustic Qianjiang bowl, 19th century. Depicting a sage at rest surrounded by rocks, plants, and a large table screen. Probably dated in the inscription. Measures almost 26cm across, over 7cm high. Good condition with some wear to the enamel and to the inscription. Firing flaws are apparent where the glaze has lifted in the kiln, typical of earlier Qianjiang. Gilded rim. Unusual piece.
