Description: A very pretty Early Republic Period famille rose porcelain umbrella stand with a very detailed background. A painted scene with a large peacock is on one side and with birds and flowers are on the opposing side. The enameling is thick. In excellent condition, this is a very substantial piece weighing about 24lbs. It measures 24" high x 9" diameter. We have a matching mirror-image umbrella stand if you need a pair or one with the peacock looking in the opposite direction.
