That's all there is to it! Welcome! We have for sale a vintage (early to mid 20th century) Chinese red lacquer box. It measures a little over 1 1/2 inches high, 4 3/4 inches wide and 9 inches long. It is a beautiful shade of cinnabar red, with a handpainted soft gilt design of fir branches on the top. The interior is a silvery gray under the lid, black lacquer in the interior of the bottom and underneath, and there is a black lacquer wood interior panel to separate papers or whatever. This box is not new and it does have some wear, like minor chipped lacquer at two of the corners, some streaks in the lacquer at either end and some dulling to the finish here and there. Overall it is in good condition with a great vintage look and color. Buy it now!
