Description:
This is a fantastic monochrome Chinese Celadon Green Ewer in the form of a Boar with a figural lizard as the handle; the boars head and neck form the spout. The item is beautifully modeled and decorated with inscribed decorative marks, and is made in the archaic style of the Jin Dynasty. The bottom underside is unglazed. This item is a modern reproduction of an antiquity from the Chinese Jin Dynasty Era, circa 350 AD, and is a wonderful decorative accessory. The actual date of manufacture is late 20th Century. Dimensions (in inches): 6.7 Tall X 6.6 Wide X 8.0 Deep. Weight: 3 Lbs. 2 Oz. The condition is good, with the exception of a one-inch firing line behind the spout; from the potting process, and in the making. There have been no repairs or restorations to this item.
