Description: Hand carved antique soapstone vase from China. This intricate vase is rich in detail and color. This is a very striking example of late 19th or early 20th century workmanship. This reddish brown and black mottled and striated soapstone is decorated with arches of stemmed flowers and leaves and has China scratched on the back like the early 20th century pieces.
