This is an antique porcelain Chinese Famille Verte Mandarin Style Snake Astrology Figure. Modeled as a man with the head of a snake, this figure has flowing green and lilac stylized robe with yellow sash belt. He stands on an octagonal shaped plinth. The convex underside base and rim foot are unglazed. Dimensions (in inches): 5.3 Tall X 2.2 Wide X 2.0 Deep. Weight is 5.8 Oz. The date is Ching Dynasty, circa 1890. Condition: There are three minor shallow edge chips: one is 3/32 inch; two are smaller than 1/16 inch on the rim of the base. The figurine is in very good condition, with no other chips, cracks, or other defects other than firing flaws and minor wear; no apparent restorations. Sold as is, as described.
