Description: An unusual Chinese export sterling silver nail buffer and case circa 1920. The exterior with a hand hammered surface and bamboo decoration. The buffer with elongated handle fits within the conforming well. The silver is hallmarked by the maker C. J. Co and sterling. Condition is very good. The handle has a monogram E M S in stylized deco block lettering. Dimensions: Height 1 3/4", Length 5 1/2".
