Description: Circa 1775 Chinese Export Porcelain Mug/Tankard also known as a drinking vessel made for the european market in the very popular and beautiful mandarin palette pattern. We have three of these mugs in three sizes that just came out of a Private Collection of a Washington, D.C. Family who traveled and purchased many things abroad. This mug is actually one of three mugs that are a set. This is #1 of the three. this one is 5 3/4" in height, with the opening diameter being 4 3/4" and the base has a diameter of 4 1/2". Excellent Condition and Very Good Quality. This pattern is very rich in color and the enamels and detail are exquisite. Made for the European Market.
