Description: Circa 1780 Chinese Export Famille Rose Teapot stand. This is a very unusual form. This Rare chinese export famille rose teapot stand is of hexagonal form. It measures 4 7/8" in diameter. This piece is very finely painted with central floral motiffs and a complex border of puce cross hatching alternating with floral vignettes. Excellent Condition. No chips, cracks or restoration. There is a tiny glaze frit on the edge of the rim and of course the gilding has some wear on the edges as expected, after 200 years. We had a pair of these, but one has been sold, leaving this one available.
