Description: Circa 1780-1800 Chinese Export Clobbered Nanking HUGE Tankard/Mug Made for the English Market. The process clobbered is painting and gilding that is added to an already completed decoration. This lovely tankard is 4 7/8" in height and the diameter across the top opening is 3 7/8". The handle is a beautiful double strap that is in Perfect Condition. This lovely beautiful cider mug is in fabulous condition with only a bubble burst along the rim. No chips , cracks or Restoration to this Very Unusual Mug. This mug also has the "RARE" Beetle in the design.
