Welcome! We have for sale an antique (late 19th or early 20th century) Chinese repousse brass centerpiece serving dish or bowl, fashioned after a Tang design. The height varies between 3 1/2 and 4 inches and the diameter is 10 1/2 inches. This centerpiece is made of very thin sheet brass fashioned into a design like an open flower, with intricate floral and foliate deep repousse work, attached to a round brass base. There are three 1/8 inch separations to the brass at the indented petal areas of the edge of the piece, showing its age. There is also some verdigris to the metal underneath. However, it is a very intricate and unique piece of Chinese brass repousse work and displays quite well. Buy it now!
