Description: Here is a very large Chicago Mosaic floral leaded glass lamp.What makes this one so unique is the rare and highly desirable Irregular shade base.These are hard to find! It measures a huge 28" tall and the shade measures 23" in diameter.It was made from Ca.1915-1925. The shade is an overall floral with wonderful multi-colored glass.Characteristics of Chicago Mosaics,the majority of the glass is granite backed so it has a lot of fire when lit! The shade is very well saturated with red,burgundy and pink flowers all around the shade.The vibrant green leaves against the cream and light gold glass make it very attractive.The base is a 2 socket rare 4 dolphin and is original to the shade. Both sockets are in working order.The base compliments the ornate shade perfectly.This is a large,impressive Chicago Mosaic lamp that I have owned for a long time and enjoyed it in my home.
