Description: English mid 19th century chest of drawers made of figured burl walnut. The chest has three drawers with a top slide tray and the hardware is old and original to the piece. The front corners are canted and fluted and the base has bracket feet. The top is triple banded and each drawer has a single band. The chest is in excellent condition and the patina is a warm shade of tobacco brown. Lastly the chest has a French polished finish which gives the piece a elegant classic look. At 30” high the chest can be used as a side piece next to sofa, bed or just by itself in the right niche.
