Description: Early Empire Mahogany Chest of Drawers, Circa 1840-1860. Handsome Cuban Style Acanthus Carved Leaf Columns framing long drawers below two rounded front ovola molded short drawers. Fine detailed lions foot carved legs support the finely hand-made dovetailed large drawers. Beautiful flamed mahogany book-matched veneer on front side of drawers.
