Description: Duck Effigy planter produced in 2000 by Cherokee Heritage Pottery (CHP). CHP produced seven designs of Sequoyah Pottery that were originally created by students at the Seqjoyah Orphan Training School in Tahlequah, OK, between 1938 and 1943. The main objectives of CHP are to document, preserve, teach and produce pottery made by Cherokee people. This duck effigy comes with a certificate verifying that this is a limited edition number 214 out of 250 that were made. The bottom is also signed and numbered as seen in the picture.
