I shouldn’t be selling this one ,just because of the Dolphin Theme !The more I look at this chandelier the more I see, the story just goes on & on. The entire chandelier is made of gilt bronze ,the casting is exceptional with so much fine detail, the movement of this chandelier is just as natural as can be as if it were rising out of the sea. The very top of the chandelier the full body mermaids or mythological sea nymphs hold the canopy they’re form is very seductive. There are three candelabra branches each with three candle branches & on each main branch is a figural classical dolphin. The bottom bowl is molded crystal that appears to be carved .The chandelier was made sometime in the 20th century & is just a remarkable work of art , unusual to put it mildly! It is newly wired ,so it is ready to install, to see it lit up is quite the spectacle! Measuring 44” Long x 24” Diameter.
