Description: Kidney shaped with one edge being reticulated.

The handle is in the form of a stem that leads to a white on white embossed leaf design on the "bowl".

Pretty wild flowers in several shades of pink with yellow centers against a pristine white ground.

The candle holder has a pie crust edge and the lower area has scalloped edges.

The piece is sponge gilded in gold.

These were used to see at night and an area of the bowl is to hold spills or matches in.

The Chamberstick measures 6" long by 4 1/2" wide, and is 2 1/2" high. It is in excellent condition without chips, cracks, or repairs and is made from hard paste porcelain, the type that doesn't craze. The mark is Furstenberg Porcelain Manufactory ca. 1897-1939 overglaze export mark.
