Description: Gorgeous Louis XV 19th century antique cream chaise lounge from south of Paris. Wonderful floral,leaf and open work hand carving on the upper back and one long arm. Upholstered arm rest on right. Additional carving along the apron with short slightly curved legs. Recently the seat was recovered in camel/taupe burlap linen and all padding,etc. replaced,the back and arms no padding and old burlap ready for new linen or upholstery. The small arm panel still covered in a floral as well as the back side of right arm.Good size for many areas. Long enough to stretch out completely in comfort.The aged cream paint has bits of the wood showing beneath giving a wonderful aged patina,no chipping or flaking to paint. Excellent construction and sturdy. Measures 60L X 29D X 38H.
