Description:
This is a formal Pair of English Victorian Side Chairs. We purchase them in London, England. The Chairs are made of Mahogany and have a rich, Deep Mahogany Patina. They are in very good condition. The Chairs have an Arching Crest Rail. The Pierced Central Splat of each Chair splays outward toward the Crest Rail in an unusual design. The Horizontal Rail below arches downward at the center. The Chairs are upholstered in a lovely Crimson Damask. The Floral Pattern which embellishes it is gold. The Front Legs of the Chairs are made in Queen Anne Design. They have Cabriole Feet. The Rear Legs are quadrangular. The Legs are connected by H-Form Stretchers. This is an opulent Pair of Side Chairs. They will add a refined Victorian elegance to any room in which you place them.
