Description: Gorgeous Cathedral Frame with a kiss closure. There is a petite blank Cartouche area on the front and back sides of the frame.

The bottom "fringe" is unique with a clever reticulated design that is all enclosed.

Hundreds if not thousands of small rings are looped together to form this delightful purse.

The color of the Chain mesh is a silver with natural patina and black.

The handle is made of thicker rings in silver.

The purse is in excellent condition with a few missing links under the frame where it attaches to the purse. Natural age related wear but all the main chain mail is there.

The frame has no dents or dings, the kiss closure aligns properly and shuts with a nice snap.

The purse is 7" long by 3 1/2" wide at the bottom fringe.The chain handle is another 5" long. Ca. late 1800's.
