Ceramic Bird Dish-Midcentury Vallauris 1950s-60s
Description: Ceramic Dish with Bird-Head Handle, Made 1950s-60s in Vallauris, France. The dish is circular with a bird-head handle. The interior is decorated with an abstract pattern in the style of "primitive" textiles. The exterior and handle are painted a brown-streaked cream. On the underside is incised the name of an unknown potter and the word "Vallauris." Dimensions: 4-3/4" High, 6-1/4" Wide, 8" Deep. Weight: 1-1/4 lbs. Condition: The condition is very good with no chips or cracks. An attractive period piece.
