Description:
In this listing we are offering an Antique CDV Album featuring Members of the Danielson Family of Danielsonville, CT. Some of the folks in the photos are not identified. I think there are about 8 of them with no names. But most of the photos have a handwritten name to identify the subject in the photo. There are DCV's for the following Danielson family members: Sanford Danielson, Adam Danielson, Simeon Danielson and Jane Danielson. There are CDV's for some Rawson family members too. They include: John Rawson, Susan E. Rawson, Martha Rawson and one of Edward Rawson as a little boy. There is also Sarah Rawson Morse, Fredric Morse, Mrs. EJ Morse, Mr. John Marsh, Susan Mason and a small photo of Helen Whipple. There is a portion of an old real photo postcard featuring Sarah Hornby, along with her death notice clipping from a newspaper in 1939. Also included with the CDV album are a few old newpaper clippings with death notices for Celestina W Bottom, the Deacon Adam B Danielson, Otis Mason and one for the Mother of A J Bartholomew, one for Mary Ann Snow and one for Celestina Fiske. The CDV's were taken by photo studios in Providence RI. They include: Westminster Fine Art Gallery, Hurd, Dunshee and S B Brown. The ink stamps for the photo studios of J T Chatterton of Woonsocket, RI and S P Davis of Danielsonville, CT are featured on the back of a couple of the CDV's. The cover of the CDV Album has fallen apart but the photos are great. A few of them have a little soiling and a lot of them feature the original US 2 Cent Tax Stamp on the back sides.
