One ~ INERT ~ A DUD ~ Cast iron military practice
bomb, Dropped from an airplane. Probably made some
time before 1945. Found on a practice bombing range
near the Hancock County Mississippi test site. Probably
dropped from an airplane from Keesler Field, At Biloxi
Mississippi. Weight is 2 pounds 13 OZS. net. It is 8.25
inches tall by 2.5 inches wide at fins. A light guage
metal band that went around the fins is missing and the
plunger that was in the nose of the bomb to make it fire
is missing. There is no danger to it, It is hollow from end
