Description:
is a beautiful, detailed miniature cast iron " Gem " wood-burning cookstove. The oven door opens and closes, and t is an attached, ornate section on the pipe with tiny shelves and drawers. One side of the stove has an openwork grate with a small ledge to catch the ashes--or to perch little dolly feet on to warm them up, while sitting in the antique cast iron rocking chair I also have for sale! The other side and the back have fancy adornments ( see photos ) . On the front are tiny cast drawers for bread or the like, and on top t are 4 round cooking plates. This treasure is painted black has a bit of paint loss. It measures 3.75 inches high by 3.25 inches wide by 2.25 inches deep. I purchased a private collection of antique cast iron doll furniture at an auction.
