Description: A REMARKABLE 19th/early 20th c. PEN AND PEN HOLDER IN SOLID, CAST BRASS IN THE SHAPE OF A PROPELLER! The pen may not be original to the piece. It has a lovely, smooth, wood handle, an ink guard and a slender metal nib. The pen holder has a modernist feeling because of its simplicity of design. The sheath for the pen is brass and turns on a tiny ball set into the center of the base.

CONDITION: Both the pen and the propeller holder are in excellent condition for their age and use. It is unusual to find a solid piece of cast brass, especially in the form of a propeller!
