Description: This is an unmarked victorian lidded casserole with a dark blue transferware floral design. It dates to about 1870-1890 and is probably English as I bought it recently in Staffordshire England. It measures 11 inches long by 7 inches wide by 5 inches high. The soup or vegetable tureen or bowl does have some problems due to age and use. It is discolored which will come out if cleaned and several tight hairline cracks. But it is a neat piece evocative of the victorian era. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured with tracking is $14.10.
