Description: Adolphe Mouron Cassandre (1901-1968) was one of the most outstanding poster artists of the twentieth century. His posters helped define the Art Deco era. The "Bonal" poster demonstrates Cassandre's mastery of the essentials of a good poster: the composition is simple and arresting; the message (this beverage is the key to good appetite) is easy to understand. The poster was created in 1936, is linen backed, measures 48" x 63" and is in excellent condition. This is a highly collectible, very rare Cassandre poster.
