Description: MURANO CASED GLASS COCKATOO ATTRIBUTED TO SANDRO FRATTIN. A beautiful cased glass Cockatoo with 24 ct Gold with Silver aventurine cased inside translucent glass. Circa 1950 / 60 and in perfect condition with no repairs or restoration, apart from a minor blemish on the lower tail, which probably occurred during the firing of this piece. In our estimation this does not detract from the beauty of this item. The Family Frattin have been creating many different works of art for centuries and the techniques have been passed down from generation to generation. Every piece is unique.
