The world has scenes of a man looking into a telescope, 3 sailing ships with birds, tails of 2 whales coming out of the water. The top of the ball representing the world is carved like a compas. wooden cane is a total of 40"long. Sterling mount hallmarks indicates it was made in Birmingham, England in 1920.
