Cartoon By Reckas Must Be Mirage 1943. This is a nice color two page cartoon. It is on Yellow paper. One cartoon by Reckas, the other by Baer. Cartoon by reckas shows two tanks side by side and soldier in one is talking to soldier in other, as he points to a house with green grass and trees in a desert and he is saying, Must be a mirage. Cartoon by Baer shows two foreign soldiers talking to each other. They are in desert, can see castle in background. Young pretty girl in scanty clothing is standing nearby. she has a tag on her ankle that reads, Happy Birthday. One soldier is saying to the other, I wonder how the sultan knew this was my birthday. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 9 1/4 inches wide by 13 3/4 inches tall.
