Description:
Additional photos available. Womens'designer coat made of camel caribou fur with leather inserts from House of Beaumont Torremolinos,Spain, tag in neck, size 8 Misses conversion. The coat is from an estate and purchased in Europe approximately 30 years prior from a haute designer house for $1800.00. Worn once or twice,no signs of wear, like new,in excellent condition. Much more stylish on than shown on a hanger with camel leather sleeve backs, buttonholes in leather, piping around the long "L" shaped pockets in front, the interior 3 inch facing, trim around cuffs and the gorgeous deep center pleat in back on either side of the darker fur row is lined with the camel leather so that when walking the inserts are shown. Lined in satin by hand with gemp trim. Additional leathr around the collar and front opening either side. Tiny buttons at the neck and around each cuff to button additional mink or other fur cuffs and collar if desired. Beautiful worn with boots. Caribou is extremely warm as was the centuries old preference for the Siberians and Newfoundlanders and also sheds rain and snow. More than one skin needed for a coat making them highly valuable. Extra replacement button included inside. Measures 45H for length.
