Description: · Circa 1910, but in excellent condition · Oval 4-carat amethyst is clear and gorgeous · Amethyst measures 11/16" long and 5/16" wide · Setting is amazing, detailed 18K filigree; claw setting · The setting really catches your eye – sits ¼" high in finger, giving lots of light to stone. · This a natural, mined, UNTREATED stone. It is very clear and one of the prettiest I have ever sold. · Size 3 – can be made up to a size 6 · 3.0 TGW · Many possibilities – engagement, right hand, or promise ring · Stamped "18K" · Will arrive in a ring box or silk envelope. · Any ring can be made up to three sizes larger or smaller. · Please contact me if you are interested in a layaway plan. This item is vintage, meaning it is not perfect as it is a pre-owned and will show signs of wear, use, and age. It is not in new condition nor is it mint. We have not cleaned, repaired, or polished it. It is sold 'as is.' My jewelry is not the least expensive on this site. However they are original items, NEVER reproductions except on rare occasions and then they are plainly stated as such. Please be aware that much jewelry listed on-line as being "vintage" or "antique" is not necessarily so. My prices, while much, much lower than you would find in a bricks and mortar store, more realistically reflect the cost of genuine antiques. And please remember that gold is $900-plus an ounce these days.
